The Organization

We have replaced the conventional management hierarchy and organized ourselves using Holacracy.

Holacracy is a method of decentralized management and organizational governance, in which authority and decision-making are distributed throughout a holarchy of self-organizing teams rather than being vested in a management hierarchy. No more top-down management.

Description of the Department

Reporting to the VP of Global Sales, the Sr. Manager of Sales Excellence (Enablement & Training) will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and adoption of world class enablement programs and initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities & Skills: 

  • Work with the Product, Marketing, Sales, and CS teams to design quarterly internal training plans based on the Sales and CS team’s objectives and the development needs of the GTM teams.
  • Oversee the design/improvement/execution of a highly rigorous, ongoing training program for existing GTM team members using a combination of live/web events and e-learning courses. 
  • Standardize global sales processes in a way that allows for flexibility based on regional and business unit needs.
  • Serve as the primary administrator of our Sales Enablement platform which is used as our internal LMS and CMS system for GTM information.
  • Ensure effective execution of the training strategy. This includes tracking, measuring, and reporting on the impact of all key training efforts and adapting curricula as needed.
  • Oversee the design/improvement/execution of a highly rigorous enablement program for new hires. 
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure sellers are adequately prepared to leverage the new GTM information in the field as effectively as possible.
  • Facilitate live training sessions as needed and program manage the external training initiatives with external entities such as partners, methodology organizations, and resellers.  
  • Oversee the design/rollout/adoption of customer-facing tools like Consensus, LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Plan, execute, and facilitate global internal training events such as SKO’s, QBR’s, and Demo Certifications sessions. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must have at least 5+ years of GTM experience in a GTM support role such as Enablement, Solution Consulting, or Product Marketing
  • G-Suite Expert since we are a G-suite company.  You must be proficient. 
  • Salesforce proficiency 
  • Must have a multi-media skillset and be able to edit video using various tools
  • Possess a combination of both startup and big company experience
  • Must have strong oral and written English communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong presentation skills

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Coaching mindset and experience 
  • Possess 10+ years of experience working in technical environments in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience in technical sales customer-facing roles such as Solution consulting, or Solution architecture.
  • Project management experience is highly preferred
