The organization 

We have replaced the conventional management hierarchy and organized ourselves using Holacracy.

Holacracy is a method of decentralized management and organizational governance, in which authority and decision-making are distributed throughout a holarchy of self-organizing teams rather than being vested in a management hierarchy. No more top-down management.

Position Overview

Labster is looking for a People Partner to join the People Circle and  work closely with business partners to nurture our values driven culture. This person will support stakeholders with overall team experience and general “people inquiries” for our Bali office. The ideal candidate is a people-centric person who can manage change effectively and be a positive and inclusive force in our Bali office.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Meeting key stakeholders to discuss people challenges.
  2. Providing guidance on people practices such as HC.
  3. Planning, organizational design and succession planning.
  4. Bringing people expertise and developing solutions to help the business area to deliver its strategy.
  5. Assisting in building strong talent pipelines and interview leaders and critical roles (culture fit and leadership).
  6. Work on retention strategies and take decisions based on the talent analytics.
  7. Influencing and building relationships with people around the business.
  8. Acting as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches.
  9. Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of people and business issues.
  10. Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency and leadership style.
  11. Drive change management initiatives
  12. Come up with and manage employees happiness programs


Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, 
  • In English and Bahasa Indonesia 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ok to work independently
  • Thorough understanding of HR Information systems, local labor law, payroll support, hiring and exit practices 
  • Global and High growth company experience is a plus 
  • Proficient with G-suite or related software
  • You’re a go-getter; making things magically happen!


  • Bachelor’s degree in related technical and/or human resources field required. 
  • At least three years of related experience within recruitment or Talent Management is required .Prior experience in technical recruitment is a big plus.
  • Experience working in a global 
  • A strong track record of positive business partner experiences. 
  • A strong work ethic and aptitude & willingness to learn the nuances of the roles and business functions you’ll recruit for
