Every year, our simulations are played by millions of students and each semester more than 4,000 universities, high schools and other institutions around the globe are using them to enhance their teaching programs.

We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Director to help us scale globally while onboarding exceptional talent to our team.

You will design and enable the implementation of the Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with our ambitious business goals.

As the leader of our global Talent Acquisition, your work will be crucial to strengthen our employer of choice brand and ensure Labster's vision to deliver an astounding experience for our students. You will develop a global team of agile minded Talent Acquisition Partners so that we can continue to attract and source top-notch talent globally.

  • Design and execute recruiting strategies to meet company goals, promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace
  • Set the vision, direction and priorities through the development and execution of a Talent Acquisition strategic roadmap
  • Advise as the recruiting subject matter expert on market trends, recruiting metrics, operational processes, systems and tools
  • Build talent pipelines for current and future job openings
  • Lead essential sourcing strategies
  • Prepare and review the recruitment budget
  • Collaborate with all teams to forecast workforce needs and requirements, actively driving the HC Planning process
  • Oversee all stages of candidate experience (including application, interviews and communication) and constantly be preoccupied to improve our processes so we deliver an exceptional candidate journey
  • Be a data ninja, own the analytics to the core so we can all drive smarter hiring insights
  • Manage, train and mentor our team of Talent Acquisition Partners
  • Participate in and host recruitment events to drive awareness of our company
  • Develop a network of potential future hires (e.g. past applicants, referred candidates, passive candidates)
  • Actively support Labster’s employer branding projects and initiatives
  • Act as an Enabler, focus on coaching and mentoring your team members, inspire them to continuously learn and grow


  • Proven work experience as a Talent Acquisition Director or similar role (any scaling experience will definitely be a plus!)
  • Demonstrable experience managing full-cycle recruiting and employer branding initiatives
  • Solid understanding of sourcing techniques and tools (e.g. social networks)
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and HR databases
  • Excellent analytical skills and reasoning abilities
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Outstanding leadership philosophy and coaching abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors, negotiate contracts and measure vendor performance
  • Able to function with strategic orientation and act tactically as required
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster long-term relationships (with internal teams, external partners and candidates)
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity
