Customer Success Manager

As a Customer Success Manager, you join the account management function of the team, and will be responsible for the retention, expansion and product adoption of our existing client base. You will develop long term relationships with key stakeholders, and create success plans for your clients aimed at maximizing Labster’s value within the classroom. You are directly responsible for the lifetime value of your clients. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Establishes and maintains key stakeholder relationships within universities and educational institutions 
  • Collaborates with teachers and institution stakeholders to maximize Labster’s product adoption during the license period with a focus on reducing churn 
  • Acts as a trusted adviser, advocating client needs back to Labster’s internal support, product, engineering, and marketing teams 
  • Researches and responds to customer support issues 
  • Successfully renews and expands existing customer annual revenue 
  • Identifies and closes additional revenue opportunities within existing client base 
  • Is an awesome Labster ambassador! 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous experience with a start-up or scale-up tech or SaaS company 
  • Must have 3-5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably dealing with contract renewals and expansion sales. 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of training and experience Technical aptitude and ability to learn software programs 
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software such as, Salesforce 
  • Self-starter, an entrepreneurial sale mindset 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Team player and puts the customer and team first 
  • Passionate about customer outcomes and value delivery during the customer lifecycle 
  • You are BOLD...big ambitions motivate you 
  • You enjoy and work best in a constantly changing dynamic environment.
