Recruiting is critical for our business growth. And we’re growing quite fast, closely with business partners to strategically source talent and ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment cycle. This person will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable candidates for the organization. Market intelligence and passive candidate outreach artistry to help us achieve our growth ambitions and continue to empower the next generation of scientists to change the world. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Focus on technical recruiting needs and facilitate all phases of the recruitment process
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and needs of the organization
  • Champion and lead recruitment-related diversity initiatives to create a thriving workplace. 
  • Craft review-worthy candidate experiences from the first contact. 
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to contribute to the execution of successful talent acquisition, aligned to business requirements.
  • Construct creative candidate communication that gets noticed – cutting through the competitive hiring noise.
  • Build and nurture talent pipelines for future hiring demands.
  • Develop a screening and qualifying strategy to highlight the best talent.
  • Proudly shout about our employer brand and spread the Labster love. 
  • Lead the negotiation and offer process with the candidate
  • Draft employment contracts and assist in onboarding new team members

  • Your sourcing skills know no limits, tapping into multiple channels simultaneously, leveraging the nuances of each, to maximum effect.  
  • You’re a go-getter, always proactively networking, continually adapting to develop new approaches for accessing, engaging with and delivering sought-after talent.
  • You’re ahead of the curve, always thinking about ‘where else?’, creating unconventional strategies for building talent pipelines.
  • You thrive on hitting deadlines and you’re an authority on project management and prioritisation. 
  • Previous start-up or scale-up tech or SaaS sourcing experience is a bonus but not a deal-breaker.
