Position Overview

Labster is looking for a dynamic Customer Marketing Specialist in Boston, MA!  Working closely with Labster’s Marketing and Customer Success teams, the Customer Marketing Specialist will drive customer satisfaction, adoption, and retention of Labster’s virtual science labs. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop innovative strategies to promote customer retention and support upsell opportunities
  • Manage all outgoing communication initiatives to Labster's customer base, including email nurture streams and educational content, at relevant touch points throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Oversee, expand and engage Labster's Faculty Advisor Network, a community of practice comprised of elite Labster customers
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess customers' marketing needs; create and monitor strategic initiatives based on those needs
  • Develop, implement and track marketing programs such as email, digital campaigns and events
  • Develop account based marketing (ABM) approaches designed to drive organic account growth
  • Drive successful adoption of new features and product enhancements
  • Establish and maintain engagement through existing customer marketing initiatives, including webinars, newsletters and other digital communication

Qualifications

  • Must have 2-3 years of experience in B2B customer marketing or customer success role
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or related field
  • Previous experience preferred with a start-up or scale-up tech or SaaS company  
  • Strong knowledge of various customer success, marketing and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, Gainsight, and content management systems 
  • Experience with Pardot or a similar Marketing Automation Platform
  • Excellent analytical skills and a knack for data analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail 
  • Strong prioritization, organization and project management skills
